Ouch! Bare feet were winning, so I figured I would stay true to the votes. Hundreds of people can't be wrong, right? Well, I guess after the pain of working out barefoot I feel good that my instinct might have been more on-target than the people who voted me into bare feet.

Twinkle00star why would you work out without socks even if people didn't vote for socks? ... have you thought about maybe they forgot to pick socks? :) ... go with your instinct ... :)

cerberus I think sometimes you need to use your own judgement in order to avoid this in the future. Working out without socks? Thats not only bad for your shoes, but terrible for your feet.
